Folks,
I appreciate all the feedback I got on the Matt Cooke piece. It truly was a pleasure being able to work on that and I hope my future articles are even half as interesting and 1/10 as in-depth.
I added a few new sections to the main navigation bar at the top of the page (right under Walt Kowalski’s ever staring eyes). I have added a reference section on how best to contact me or any guest writers on the blog. All necessary contact info can be found there. I also added a page about “rules” and expectations. I use the term “rules” loosely. As the Joker said, “the only sensible way to live in this world is without rules.” I don’t want you to think that I am going to be an old schoolmarm about things. I just wanted to lay out some expectations, both what I expect of people when engaging me as we all as when you engage one another in the comments. I encourage you to disagree and have discussions. Just be ready to back up your argument. If you feel the need to be a superfan or play moral majority, I encourage everyone to give it to you right back.
If you have a moment, please take a quick look at those two pages.
The other half of this post is about expansion. Obviously the blog is young and there is still a lot to be done with it. The best way anyone could help is get the name of the blog out there. I created a Facebook page for it where it can be “liked” and I would greatly appreciate re-tweeting about new posts and getting some exposure. Everyone has done a fantastic job of it so far and it means the world to me. Obviously I don’t want anyone to break the rules of other forums or websites by advertising my blog, but if linking is allowed and/or suggested, I would appreciate it.
Thanks. It means the world to me.
